Abel Arts Gallery, Raveningham Centre, Norfolk
We had a wonderful ‘taster exhibition’ of work by the South Norfolk Artist for Norfolk Open Studios. It went really well and we were blessed with gorgeous sunshine!
Sky TVs’ Bride of the Year 2009
I was asked to design and make the trophy for the winning bride. The presentation was held at Charlotte Hotel in London. I was a V.I.P guest and I must admit I did feel a bit like a fish out of water! There were TV presenters, WAG’s, ex Big Brother contestants and a lot of (quite obviously) famous people that I had no idea of! The best thing was meeting Elizabeth Emanuel who designed Princess Di’s wedding dress back in the 80’s, she was presenting the award.
Battersea Designer Wedding Show
The show is fantastic! I probably didn’t take it in as much as I should because I’m working, but it is the place to be for designer ‘everything you could need for your wedding’!
Harleston Gallery, Norfolk
I put a piece called ‘On Stage’ into the exhibition of East Anglian Artists work. My piece was based on the work of the ballerinas by Degas.
Norwich Cathedral Flower Festival
I’m a member of a group called Produced in Norfolk. We have events all over Norfolk show casing the work of the members. The Norwich Cathedral Flower Festival was a big favourite of mine. Produced in Norfolk had craft stalls in the cloisters. It was fantastic weather and I had a ball!
