Fairies	Mermaids	Angels

My contemporary historical couture sculpture leads my mind off in many directions. One of the places it sometimes takes me is to a mystical place somewhere in the maze that is my creative mind.

All of my work interlinks in some way and all of my fairies, mermaids and angels are dressed to the highest house couture of any given period in time such as the 50's, and sometimes it's a bit of a mixture.

Every one I create is unique, as even if I try to make them look the same - they all seem to develop their own personality and characteristics!

Last year I was asked by a little girl if I could make her a mermaid that could also fly! I came up with the idea of a 'Mery'. A mermaid who had fairy wings to be able to fly out of the water.
